Terms of service
Last updated 8 September 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Talkin. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are allowed to bind it.
1. The service
Talkin provides AI voice agents that answer telephone calls for your business, hold a conversation with the caller, and carry out actions you have configured — taking a booking, capturing a lead, answering a question, transferring the call.
We improve the service continuously. We may add, change or remove features, but we will not materially reduce what a paid plan includes during a billing period without telling you first.
2. Your account
- You must give accurate details and keep them current.
- You are responsible for everything done under your account, and for keeping your password safe.
- Tell us promptly at info@an2tech.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
- You must be at least 18 and using the service for a business.
3. Plans, trials and billing
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Prices are shown excluding VAT, which is added where it applies. Minutes included in your plan reset each billing period and do not roll over; minutes used beyond your allowance are billed at the overage rate published on our pricing page.
- Trials. Free trials last 14 days and need no card. We will not charge you unless you choose a plan.
- Upgrades take effect immediately and are charged pro rata.
- Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. The service runs until then.
- Refunds. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
- Late payment. If a payment fails we will retry and email you. We may suspend the service after 14 days unpaid.
We may change prices with 30 days' notice by email. The new price applies from your next billing period, and you may cancel before it takes effect.
4. Acceptable use
You must not use the service to:
- Make unsolicited bulk or automated marketing calls, or otherwise breach telemarketing and do-not-call laws.
- Impersonate a person or organisation, or mislead a caller about who they are dealing with.
- Record calls where you have not obtained the consent the law requires.
- Break any law, infringe anyone's rights, or transmit unlawful, deceptive or harassing content.
- Probe, overload or interfere with the service, or attempt to reverse engineer it.
- Resell the service without our written agreement.
Outbound calling and call recording are heavily regulated, and the obligations fall on you as the caller. Compliance with those rules is your responsibility. We may suspend an account immediately where we believe this section has been breached.
5. Your content and your data
You keep ownership of everything you put into the service and of your call data. You grant us the licence needed to host and process it in order to run the service for you — nothing more. We do not use your data to train public AI models.
You confirm you have the right to give us the data you upload and to have us process the calls we handle on your behalf. Our handling of personal data is set out in the privacy policy.
6. What the agent says
The agent is an AI system. It can misunderstand a caller or answer imperfectly. You are responsible for the information you give it and for reviewing the outcomes it produces. We do not warrant that every call will be handled without error, and the agent's replies are not professional advice of any kind.
The service is not for emergency calls. It must never be relied on to reach emergency services.
7. Third-party services
The service connects to tools you choose — calendars, CRMs, telephony providers. Their own terms govern your use of them, and we are not responsible for their availability or their acts.
8. Availability
We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee it except where an Enterprise agreement sets an SLA. We may take the service down for maintenance, and will give notice where it is planned.
9. Suspension and termination
You may cancel at any time from your settings. We may suspend or end your account if you materially breach these terms, fail to pay, or use the service in a way that risks harm to us, our providers or the public. On termination your right to use the service stops and we delete your data as described in the privacy policy; export anything you want to keep first.
10. Liability
To the extent the law allows, the service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost business or lost data. Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
11. Indemnity
You agree to cover us against claims arising from your use of the service in breach of these terms, including claims about calls you made, recorded or had the agent handle.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we will email account holders at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Talkin is established, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting the mandatory rights of consumers elsewhere.
